- CHECK FOR ALERTS ON GMAIL WEBPAGE
The first solution is to visit Gmail on your browser instead of the mobile application. Gmail generally notifies you when there is a problem with your account – check if there are any alerts for you using the webpage. Open Gmail on your browser and log in to your accounts. Once logged in, tap on the alert box to see all alerts.
- REVIEW RECENT DEVICES
When Gmail won't load on iPhone, the following solution is to review your recent devices to identify anything suspicious. Go to Google’s My account website, click on Sign-in & security, and then go to Device Activity & Notification. Identify all devices used on your account, and see if there happen to be ones you may be unaware about, delete them.
- CAPTCHA RESET
Visit Google’s CAPTCHA reset page – CAPTCHA momentarily unlocks
some of Google’s security features to allow new devices to connect to Gmail –
and log in using your correct credentials. Go back to your Gmail application
and insert your email address with your password. You can use Gmail without
hassle now.
- ENABLE IMAP
The following solution for when Gmail won't load is
to ensure that you have enabled IMAP. IMAP is a technology that Google uses to
deliver emails to your device. Open the browser on your iPhone and open Gmail
on it. Tap on Go to mobile Gmail site link, look for links next to View Gmail
in, and tap Desktop. Now tap settings and then Forwarding and POP/IMAP and
ensure that IMAP is enabled.
- REMOVE AND RE-ADD
The final solution to Gmail won't load on iPhone is to remove your Gmail account from the Gmail application and re-add it. Open the Gmail application and tap on your profile picture.
