To install TurboTax on windows 10 without CD/DVD drive –

Step 1 – First, open any browser on your computer.

Step 2 – Download the TurboTax setup file from the official website.

Step 3 – After downloading the .exe file, save it on your system.

Step 4 – Then click on the ‘Run’ option.

Step 5 – Double click on the .exe file and your installation process will start.

Step 6 – Wait for a few minutes, your software will be installed successfully.

To install TurboTax on windows 10 with CD/DVD drive –

Step 1 – First, close all programs that are running in your system. Now bring out the TurboTax CD and insert it in the optical drive of your system.

Step 2 – Your TurboTax software will start installing automatically, if not, then hold the Window plus R key to open the ‘Run Window’.

Step 3 – Now you need to select browser to open window explorer and find the CD drive.

Step 4 – When you double click on the “setup.exe” file, your installation process will start.

Step 5 – Wait for a few minutes, your software will be installed successfully.

To Install TurboTax on Mac, follow these easy steps –

Step 1 – First you need to insert the TurboTax CD/DVD into the optical drive of your Mac.

Step 2 – If you have downloaded the TurboTax software already on your computer, then double click the ‘.dmg’ file.

Step 3 – Now you need to go through the instructions that appear on your screen to continue the installation of TurboTax on Mac.

Step 4 – Once you have read all the instructions carefully, you need to drag the ‘red TurboTax icon’ to the Applications folder.

Step 5 – Refrain from dragging the TurboTax icon beyond the pop-up window of the existing Application folder.

Once you complete all the given steps, double click the TurboTax icon in the Applications folder. Your TurboTax software has installed. Now you can start filing your taxes.
